Statamic Webmentions v2.0
Last month I wrote about having taken up the development and maintenance of the only webmentions plugin for Statamic. It has been a week now and I have not had a moment to write about here but v2.0 of the plugin is now live. Specifically v2.2 is the current latest version and introduces a new dashboard widget and brings a couple of minor bug fixes.
New dashboard widget Easily keep track of new webmentions right from your dashboard. Introducing a completely new functionality, this comes as a major update v1.0 → v2.0. You can pick how many recent webmentions you wish to be shown, and the widget will display a ‘NEW’ marker when you have any new webmentions (defined to be newer than 3 days).
Fixes Both v2.1 and v2.2 are minor updates fixing the webmentions widget title and icon colouring in dark mode as well as introducing a better svg icon.
To update run the standard composer command:
composer update vhbelvadi/webmentions
or specify the version:
composer require vhbelvadi/webmentions:2.2
Ensure you change 2.2
to whatever the latest version is when you read this note. The value 2.2
is as of the time of publication.
As before you can also find the add-on on Github as well as on the Statamic marketplace. Pull requests via Github are welcome and while I am unable to offer more direct support, please feel free to reach out with quick questions via e-mail and I will see how best I can help.
This is a note: a brief thought or notable piece of information from my commonplace book. For longer writings, please see ‘Essays’.
